Although sometimes referred to as a videographer, Jonathan at Superlative Cinema prefers cinematographer, because he uses his love of film to elevate his practice. A wedding cinematographer crafts a cinematic piece of video art from the wedding day. They take all the video and sound bites from the day of the wedding and piece it together into a film.

Jonathan’s love for the craft of film making sets him apart. He has a mastery of the technical elements of the process, such as camera, computer, and audio technology, and uses his interest in photography as a building block. His customers were repeatedly impressed with his mastery and knowledge of his craft, in addition to how easy he was to work with. Superlative Cinema employs multiple videographers who are all family and friends.

Citing a love for the romance genre, Jonathan infuses his films with dreamy sensibility, while also making them of professional quality. They have a library of licensed music to soundtrack the day, and they give the couple a preview trailer to see while they wait for their film and videography package to be finished. In addition they also offer drone footage from FAA-licensed drone operators.

Based out of both Oklahoma and Missouri, but also willing to travel, you can contact Superlative Cinema at their website https://www.superlativecinema.com/
